I tried to develop some theme design which have to be used in Toonkidz showrooms.

But it is not conformed that which one has to go to the floors. I ve taken one design element which i ve posted earlier, to use in a T shirt (really what i do for a fun.) Same design elements cropped and meticulously used in different style to get a feeling of a "riot of coloures ".

This can be used in different kind of accessories and stationery if it is placed deftly.

This is Toonkidz Advt published in Deccan chronicle Full page. Our idea was to make our brand like a magic box which can Produce all the merchandise for kids, based on iconic toon charectors.. so it creates an ambiance that any dream of kids to get their fetishes and weird gadgets is possible in our showroom floors... . One of our toonkidz founder director Dinesh Nambiar suggested this idea and I created this in Photoshop..BG graphics in photoshop and final design in illustrator... This idea can be manifested beautifully in Maya rather than PS or Illustrator.....Can't be???

In this painting
I draw your absence.
I wish to mark never,
The trees, withered leaves,
Scattered footpaths
But only your absence
Beach and the sea
Are two blank spaces.. for me..
Where I can draw
Only one tweaked line in between


The rows and columns
of the absence of flowers..
makes the shape of the next garden


on the bench and the tree shade,
on the leaves and in the ivy cage,
your absence, a blank space


so a layout…very new..
where I live in scared
I know scare a soothing feel..

Cover for Infosys

This cover design is done for one of infosys’s magazine,which has been Published in different languages in many European and other countries. The theme of the latest issue is demographic banking. In a same platform, new generation banks deal with different kind of population and services. So I had to illustrate something that shows an ensemble of different elements in a same kernel. One of a master heads suggested me to visualize, of different kind of gems in a same shell. I believe, I did a good job and it can be communicated with some texts. But it is rejected by the client, because it failed to communicate the theme..( I content..anyway of quality, that is never a reason for them) Alas!!! IT’ens see the visuals through some meticulously programmed intellect, based on a business platform. But on one matter, I can agree. Especially in IT business software ‘hits’ a customer more than its interface designs. So is the magazine, what they think. But any way the layout of the magazine (already accepted by the client) is so pure. (Narayanmurthy….Please note the point..Ha.. Ha….) I really stunned, being a wonder in IT industry, how this kind of small areas have been neglected by the company. I didn’t see any of Infosys’s software and its interfaces. One question I had in mind then…who is the first person to suggest the designs..? A good designer or the owner of a company?. What ever it is...let it be there. right?? I did new one what I don’t like and sent it. I would like to show you this cover only because I would like this more than any covers what I did recently
How I did(for PS users): I painted the shell in Photoshop referring some photographs , created background in the same and taken some images of pearls and trinkets from photography sites, Cut it and arranged, given shadows manually. I suggest my friends those who carefully try to study PS.. Try to do shadows and highlights manually. it helps the illustration to be clandestine among original photographs, that strew more hues than real…...really hypernatural …!!!!!

I sat down on the concrete bench in the rain...i got soaked completely with a shivering sigh... i felt stinging cold. it was drizzling and .. was touching me with its frozen fingers.. I could feel again the same grind of monsoon ..and i saw.. water flowed through the green bylanes and scribbled some unknown words...When it abated with a whistling.. i recall.. where we have been ......the same time...same day....when was it...?i recall ... years ago....Do you remember... Dont you........?!! We were together.. talking about some worthless pulp fictions.... I soaked...completely...A few drops came down through out the day.. i was back here after struggling a lot to get a ticket...but i had to do so to be here once again...again..I sat down on the same bench...where we have been spending our own time...some years ago...i dont know..now where you are..i heard... out of kerala...even if i left tht place ..i had to go back to the same place to stabilise myself...to capture all the pixels which had gone blurred in to forgiveness..So yesterday, when a steady soft rain began and continued, I was in a bad mood. The temperature has drastically fallen, and as I sat at the table beside an open window for many hours last evening and heard the sound of rain dropping onto my mossy parapet of my antique college, it was breathing feebly... This is for you...I had to illustrate something to keep in my wallet...i dont know.. you might have seen this clouds.. It has got all the colors of our beautiful memories of calicut..... Now, when I look out the windows of my office and across the bustling road to the far greenery, I see leaden sky and heavy wheatish clouds. It's beautiful...................... but colorless
